How do I start my first evaluation?
To start your first evaluation, navigate to the dashboard and click "Purchase Challenge". Select your preferred account size, complete the payment, and you'll receive your trading credentials via email within minutes. You can then log into your WaterfallTrader platform and begin trading.
What are the profit targets for each stage?
Stage 1 requires an 8% profit target, and Stage 2 requires a 5% profit target. For example, on a $50,000 account, you need to reach $4,000 profit in Stage 1 and $2,500 profit in Stage 2. Once you pass both stages, you'll receive a funded account.
How long does it take to get funded?
The evaluation process has no time limits, so you can take as long as you need. However, most successful traders complete both stages within 2-4 weeks. Once you pass Stage 2, your funded account is typically activated within 24-48 hours.
What is the profit split on funded accounts?
You receive 80% of all profits made on your funded account, with Waterfall taking 20%. After reaching certain milestones, your profit split can increase to 90/10. Payouts are processed bi-weekly and sent directly to your verified payment method.
Can I trade during news events?
Yes, you can trade during news events. However, we recommend using proper risk management as volatility increases during major economic announcements. There are no restrictions on news trading at Waterfall.
What happens if I breach the rules?
If you breach any of our trading rules (such as exceeding the daily loss limit or maximum drawdown), your evaluation will be terminated. However, you can purchase a new evaluation at any time and start fresh. We also offer discounted retake options for failed evaluations.
